About

Hello, I’m Sasha — welcome to Cleopatra by the Sea.

My life has unfolded across many landscapes, from the majestic Andes of Peru to the sunlit orange groves and coastal calm of Southern California. I grew up moving between countries, cultures, and households—attending eight schools and navigating a mosaic of emotional and linguistic terrains. The complexities of my childhood, layered with early trauma, shaped me in profound ways. Over time, pain gave way to deep empathy, resilience, and a quiet sensitivity to both myself and the unspoken experiences of others.

In my twenties, I wandered through Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Italy, and Switzerland, gathering inspiration like gemstones tucked into my pocket. I earned a B.A. in Global Studies with a minor in Spanish from UC Santa Barbara, and later graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles with a degree in Product Development. These studies deepened my understanding of global interconnection, cultural nuance, and the art of shaping visual and narrative identity. Over the years, I’ve also trained extensively in healing and wellness arts—most recently earning certifications in Pilates Mat 1 and Reformer 1 & 2 to further expand my repertoire.

I’ve worked across a range of creative spaces: styling campaigns and designing for iconic fashion brands and individuals, contributing to Oscar-season PR, writing, reading tarot, wellness consulting, and entrepreneurship. As the founder of Cleopatra by the Sea, I’ve created a space that weaves storytelling with holistic practices. Whether in a studio or a quiet moment of reflection, I return again and again to the power of self-expression—the stories we tell, the ones we carry, and the ones we are still becoming.

My multicultural background and lived experience form the heartbeat of this space. Through philosophy, spirituality, storytelling, and a strong aesthetic sensibility, I’ve grown into a woman devoted to beauty, truth, and the art of intentional living. I’m drawn to the places where aesthetics meet emotion, where theology touches art, where style reflects energy, and where life itself becomes ritual—not formed by doctrine, but by allowing, as Mary Oliver wrote, “the soft animal of the body to love what it loves.”

I created Cleopatra by the Sea as an offering—a soft place to land. A space for rituals, reflections, and reminders of how deeply beautiful life can be when met with presence. Here, I explore themes of inspiration, creativity, belonging, healing, and becoming. My hope is to encourage others to stay curious, give language to their longings, and trust the rhythm of their own unfolding.

Whether through fashion, travel, interiors, music, or meditations on the divine, I hope to offer a little light—to help others feel less alone in their questions, and more empowered to live in tune with what’s true for them.

This is my love letter: to creativity, to depth, to the slow, sometimes wild, sacred art of becoming who we were always meant to authentically be.

Take what resonates. Leave the rest. And walk gently in the direction of your becoming.
